Yesterday, the family and I enjoyed a great day at Earl’s Court watching some Olympic Volleyball. We were particularly impressed by the ‘game-makers’ – the massive team of volunteers on the streets to direct, assist, greet, and be generally good eggs. Their cheer was boundless. This coupled with great organisation made the whole experience a real joy. The lesson: great organisation coupled with a really warm welcome makes visitors happy.
